Sacramental Program

Our Year 3 students have been busy preparing for their Sacrament of Reconciliation. The 11 students will receive their sacrament on Saturday 31 May at the 5pm Mass at St Bede’s Church. We invite families to join us for Mass to recognise this special achievement.

Please keep these students in your prayers – Blaine, Jacinta, Jasmine, Jessica, Jonty, Miguel, Poppy, Tess, Tom, Toby and Vinnie.

Week 6 – Year 3 & 4

Week 7 – Kinder & Year 5/6

Week 8 – Year 1 & 2

Week 9 - Year 3 & 4

St Bede’s Feast Day

This week, we recognise the Feast Day of our school saint – St Bede. Today we attended a Mass in honour of St Bede, followed by sharing a yummy morning tea. We held our celebrations at school due to the rain – we are grateful to everyone for their flexibility in the last minute change. Thank you to all the families and parishioners who joined us in this celebration. A big thank you to Fr Sijo for celebrating Mass at school with us. We also thank Trish Young for baking 166 cupcakes and the staff who provided morning tea.

In St Bede’s tradition, each year a student from each grade level receives ‘The St Bede’s Award’. This award recognises students who demonstrate Christian leadership and dedication to their studies – much like St Bede did! The awards were presented at our St Bede’s Feast Day Mass.

We congratulate our 2025 award recipients:

Kinder – Jude Fuhrer

Year 1 – Matilda Pluess

Year 2 – Maxi Skene

Year 3 – Thomas Ellis

Year 4 – Maddie Skene

Year 5 – Fallon Hanlon

Year 6 – Charlotte Taylor

Religious Education Coordinator (Acting)

Dear God,

I know you are with me and love me.

God of mercy, you inspired St Bede with the love of education. Help me to learn by the example of St Bede and be enlightened by your wisdom.

May our school year be full of wonderful learning opportunities that help prepare us for life beyond school.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Amen.
